hiogi launched a new premium answer service for media cooperations paying a significant rev share to the media companies. End customers pay up to 1.99 EUR for the premium answers, which are especially fast and good. hiogi closed the third financing round with its three investors HP Ventures, Media Ventures and A-Z Beteiligungen in order to invest further in sales and development of the following newly launched B2B products:
A) Customer Involvement Platform
hiogi offers an innovative crowd-sourcing solution with mobile questioning channels that work as a valuable add-on for FAQ areas or existing CRM solutions. Customer Involvement Platforms are often realized with a common forum solution. However companies like telcos, OEMs or the travel industry e.g. need a Q&A solution that also supports mobile formats and devices plus a quality assurance of the content. hiogi launched a premium answer service, based upon the top answerers (hiogis) that showed extraordinary performance in the free community. Premium answers are priced with 1.99 EUR and give media partners and the answerers a relevant revenue share for each premium answer that goes out following a certain advertisement, e.g. hiogi just launched a joined TV campaign with a media partner. Media companies get a real-time online reporting and different keywords for different campaigns in order to measure and optimized the ad performance.
Our mobile portals show a steep increase in traffic over the last weeks, not only due to the very active hiogi users, but also, because we now have over 50.000 mobile pages indexed at google. Therefore we now started a first trial to market our inventory using Admob text ads. However we are looking for a professional agency to market our mobile content with close to 1 Mio PIs per month. google became a very important traffic source and we are happy that more and more people find hiogi answers while searching with google. We also increased our adsense on the web and are excited about every click that generates some revenue.

Yeehaaah. We got selected to present at “The Mobile 2.0″ mid march in Paris. Only 28 start-ups got selected and more than 100 applied. It looks like a cool event and maybe we find someone to help us run and promote our French and English sites. Stay tuned…
